The course Applying Ed Tech Portfolio, was one of the two initial courses I enrolled in as I began the journey to earn my Masters Degree in Digital Learning and Leading (DLL). The main purpose of this course as outlined by the syllabus is for each student to create their own E-Portfolio to share their voice and projects throughout the DLL program. Our mentor and teacher who is passionate about learning and change the world one learner at a time outlined this process and suddenly it was all up to us; The colors, the fonts, the layout, what we included... everything. This was overwhelming at first as I have never been given this much control over what will be a grade for a college course, but as I became more comfortable with the idea of taking full ownership over this little corner of the Internet what I can only describe as magic began to happen.

I am so thankful for the members of my core group who have consistently encourI have learned and grown as an individual more than I thought I would have. Although I started off a little shaky as this self-directed learning is very new for me, I am indeed self-motivated to navigate, explore and learn with little to no guidance. There is so much about the format of education that I want to change and with the knowledge I have gained in this course and the confidence I have discovered in my ability to inspire change I can only say I am so much more excited for my future in the profession. I would also like to add to this that I am very proud of the content I have been able to produce in these 8-weeks. My portfolio is a reflection of myself and I couldn't feel better about it.
