This week we were encouraged to look at others e-portfolios and continue to build our own. It was interesting how different each persons portfolios was from one another and form my own. I found many people included a lot of pictures, icons, and graphics where others went for a much more minimalistic approach. This was not where the differences stopped, some portfolios had bright and cheerful colors, others were more muted and toned down. Even the names and titles of some portfolios were extremely different, many were variations of their owners names while some were more creative and silly.

These differences stood out to me because it shows just how unique this process is for every person who creates a portfolio. To me this portfolio and blog are a reflection of myself, my values, and my journey as a learner and a professional. I included muted pinks and natural colors that remind me of peace, simplicity, and joy in my portfolio color scheme as well as simple minimalistic photos that accent my pages instead of drawing too much attention. This portfolio is my own little piece of the internet just like all of those others were for their owners. What I have learned is that e-portfolios are just as unique as their creators, no two are alike and thats just how it should be.
